Student Wellbeing

National Harmony Day sits comfortably alongside the National Day of Action against Bullying and Violence. When we acknowledge our shared experiences and humanity, we are less likely to resort to hurting or putting others down.

Harmony is not always an easy thing to achieve; we often find selfishness easier than sharing, conflict more inviting than making peace and welcoming the stranger too great a challenge. These positive concepts, however, are vital in promoting not only our own well-being but they also benefit those around us.

Check out these links for more information about taking a stand against bullying – for both kids and carers. We can work together to ensure Numurkah Primary School continues to be a safe and welcoming place for everyone!
