iSea, iCare Program

Last week we had an amazing trip out to sea and swam with the seals, stingrays and the tropical fish.

We got on the boat and headed out to the ocean. First we stopped at the home of the seals, Chinaman's Hat, where they were napping and swimming.

The seals were very friendly and did some tricks and jumped all around us and play fighting with their siblings.

There were two massive stingrays and 1 baby that also joined us on the swim.

The second stop was a massive reef and tropical fish. There was schools of tiny blue fish, fluffy Australasian Gannet  birds on the rocks and a few seals relaxing.

The reason why we did this was to learn about the animals and the wildlife's habitat and that it might be gone soon if we don’t do something about it.

Did you know that 1 whole garbage truck is going into the water every minute. That’s way to much.

This was definitely the way to start the year with friends and the wildlife. We will never forget this day for sure. We were very lucky for all the animals to be out, and a big thank you to Miss McCurdy for taking us there and all the organization that went into this.
