Physical Education

Another great week of PE for our MPRPS students. In Week 3, our Senior students will be completing another fitness challenge so no further equipment required.

This week the juniors will be continuing with practicing their underarm and overarm throws, so the same equipment you have been using will be fine. If foundation families could save toilet roll tubes, though, they will make perfect targets for this weeks main activity!

Looking forward to another fun week!

Visual Arts

Week 2 has seen our senior students well and truly rise to the occasion and create some spectacular work. The quality of output was without exaggeration, just phenomenal. Those students who attempted and uploaded their work impressed me immensely. The clever juxtapositions of objects and artistic compositions were of a very high standard; the humorous effect a bonus. I am hoping to capitalize on this creative output and am earmarking some of your images for our art show next year. Keep exploring - your artistic endeavour draws on many facets of being human: your emotional, intellectual and physical selves. It can be a particularly useful form of expression in these times. Keep having a go - and don’t let perfectionism stunt your growth. It was hard choosing a pupil of the week amongst the senior cohorts this week - because all submissions were of a very high standard. Well done 5/6 students!

Thank-you to all the students who uploaded their work this week.  Unfortunately there were some technical problems and we have learnt a lot this week.  Next week should be smoother and we look forward to seeing what the students will create.
