5/6s Week 4

The Grade 5/6 students have settled well into the routine of remote learning and have been able to use technology effectively to work together with others.  Many of them have been asking questions online through the class comments and answering each other’s queries. 

All grades have had the chance to share their leadership homework project presentations. Students have been able to collaborate with each other over Google Slides, using the comments function to give each other TAG feedback.

Classes have been able to meet virtually through Google Meet, sharing in community circles and working in small groups on specific tasks. 

As our Integrated topic for this term is around the big question “How do living things change places and places change living things?”, with a focus on geography and land use, many classes have started to read about how the First Australians used the land.
