NEXT FETE MEETING 3:30pm MONDAY 17th FEB - ALL WELCOME

Our fete committee is in full swing to ensure our families and school community have a wonderful night. We have some great rides and entertainment booked.

Our fete is Friday 13th March 3.30pm-7.00pm; only 5 weeks away!

We looking for some strong voices to share the role of MC for the evening. This includes spruiking prizes and announcing the winners at the Spinning Wheel and giving information about other stalls and attractions and locations. All information will be supplied. Please email stlfete@gmail.com if you would like any more information.

Donations

As part of our major fundraising effort we ask families to donate 'family size' chocolate blocks for our chocolate bed.  All brands welcome - keep an eye out for great specials at local supermarkets.  Please ensure that blocks  best before date is past March 2020.During the fete the chocolate blocks are laid out on a wooden slat bed and people can test their skills by throwing a gold coin at the bed. If the coin lands on a chocolate block the person wins.

We are also looking for donations of cans of soft drink  bottles of water to sell on the evening. For families unable to work on a stall on fete night or not able to help in another way it is expected that drink donations will be made. All donated items can be dropped into office.

Sporting Demonstration Co-ordinator

We are also looking for someone who can contact local sports groups, dance groups or scouts for example, if they are interested in doing a demonstration during the fete. Or even if you are part of that group and have a contact, to ask them. That would be great. Again, email stlfete@gmail.com if any questions or would like to take on that role.

Advertising

Another job leading up to the fete is advertising it. If you are interested in walking around our town or surroundings to ask shops to put up flyers, please let us know.

Stall Roster

A stall roster will be available at Fish and Chip night, if you would like to get in early or the spots will be filled in. If you have a preference and cant make it to fish and chip night, please email  stlfete@gmail.com

It is an expectation that all families will be rostered onto a stall unless they have other major roles at the fete.

Again, this is our schools major event for the year and it doesn't succeed unless we all participate. It is such a wonderful night for our school and outer community. Please let your friends and families know to save the date.

Thank you

Fete Committee
