Numeracy

Learning focus' in Numeracy Term One

This term we are looking at the following Mathematical concepts:

-Place Value, renaming numbers, modelling numbers and their values.

-Data, interpreting results, constructing displays including column graphs, dot plots and tables, appropriate for data type.

-Addition and Problem Solving. 

-Subtraction and Problem Solving. 

-Mapping, coordinates and directions.

-Number lines, negative and positive numbers.

-Order of Operations.

Each week, we will participate in fun and engaging Numeracy games that reinforce and consolidate Mathematical concepts and strategies.
