Year 6 Farewell Evening

Our Year 6 Graduation 'farewell' event was held at school on the evening of Thursday 10th December 2020. With Covid-19 restrictions changing constantly at this time, staff pivoted quickly and creatively, resulting in a farewell event on the school grounds with staff, students, parents, and carers all in attendance. As we initially thought that parents may not be able to attend so to record the event an amazing video was produced of the evening, thankfully restrictions were eased in time. Our inspirational student speakers were Rosie Shannon-McDonald and Daisy Stoney and Principal Sally returned for the evening to provide some wise words. Students performed the traditional farewell dance featuring Queen's 'Don't Stop Me Now' and BTS's 'Dynamite', the school band played, and each student received individual graduation certificates.   

After such a challenging year, with remote learning and lockdowns it was an incredible opportunity to celebrate all we had achieved together as a school community.
