Senior School Learning

Senior Learning to Learn

Last week, Senior Students engaged in the Learning to Learn Program at TPS. They have shared their reflections with us.

This week in Learning to Learn, we have been learning about...

Our school routines and what happens in the Senior building. We have been talking about the values and expectations for being in Grade 3/4 and Grade 5/6 - Lucy, Emily, Livvy.

It is important we learn about this because...

We will be ready to learn by showing everyone respect so we can be the best learners we can! - Livvy, Jorja.

Some activities we did were...

Making our passports for the values stickers - Olivia, Sage.

A lot of group activities to get to know everyone. We took a class photo to start the year with all of our teachers. We had lots of chances to make new friends too - Livvy and Jorja.

We enjoyed the activities this week because...

All of the activities were fun and challenging! Olivia, Sage.

We also liked the tasks because we got to know others in our class and make more friends at the start of the year. Livvy, Jorja.

We are excited to...

Be Senior Students! And go on school camp this year - Lucy and Emily

Get started on schoolwork and set learning goals - Livvy

Grade 6s are very excited to work on our Grade 6 T-shirts!

Friday Feels!

Starting this week, students will be reflecting on their learning using the 'Friday Feels' page. Students will attach this reflection into their diary each week. Friday Feels can then be used to spark discussion with parents and guardians at home! Check out your child's reflections each week, ask them some questions about their learning and simply sign at the bottom of the page. Keep an eye out for the first Friday Feels this week!
