EISM Summer Senior Sport finals

SENIOR GIRLS SOCCER

Well done to the Senior Girls Soccer team who won the Eastern Division’s Southern Conference. The team will now compete against Oxley Christian College (Northern Conference winners) for the Divisional Premiership.

The Conference final against our old nemesis side, Huntingtower, was a very tight affair. Both teams had numerous chances throughout the match but in the end, the scores were locked at 0-0.

An excited coach Henrik said, “A fantastic effort from the whole squad of girls, special mention to Kate May (goalkeeper) who made some match winning saves, and both Natasha Tsirelas and Charlotte Westaway, who controlled the back half and thwarted many Huntingtower advances”.

Kilvington will move to the Divisional final based on goal differences between the teams throughout the summer season.

SENIOR BOYS INDOOR CRICKET

Congratulations to the Senior Boys Indoor Cricket team who won the EISM Eastern Division.

Coach Mr Moloney said, “The boys went through the season undefeated and thoroughly deserved their success. They were rarely challenged and the Grand Final story was no different. We easily accounted for Kingswood College, scoring 85 runs to 5 runs!”.

Coach Moloney is hopeful that the boys will remain together for next year so they can defend their title.

The Premiership team: Cooper Anstee, Jack Anstee, Will Blair, Alex Campbell, Charlie Clancy, James Hopley, Aiden McMillan, Aiden O’Connor, Daniel Pontifex, Kriday Gupta, Jared Martin, Chengyou Song.
