Kickstart your desgin career

Chess set by Harriet Lohrey

From drawing board to crowdfunded products

Over the past semester the Year 9/10 Kickstart class have been using the Design Thinking Process to research, design and create a range of products. Each student has then undertaken a process to take their product to market via a crowdfunding method made popular by companies such as Kickstarter. Some of the products designed and created show great technical abilities and creativity. Students had a whole lot of fun working through each step in the process and should be really proud of what they have achieved. We might even see some of these products appear on the market throughout next year.
