Green Team

Green Team 2020, what a great gang!

We had a wonderful party for our last green team meeting to acknowledge the great work that has been done, as students hit the ground running once on-site learning resumed. We grabbed the opportunities that came our way, and we're thankful to Darebin Council and the opportunities with Ozgreen, to work together with other environmental leaders in our community.  The chance to participate in the pop-up bike lanes project and give feedback to this process is also something to look forward to.

Special thanks to the commitment of green team students and friends who popped in to lend a hand, and the support of maintenance manager John Scott for getting our recycling bins and team in action.

Whilst we danced and celebrated we were also saying good bye to Romy Nolan who is off to Canberra. Best wishes Romy, you will be missed. Thank you to the amazing green team gang, it has been such a pleasure to work with you all. I look forward to seeing how the goals developed through Ozgreen grow and the exciting work that will be coming with our new sustainability /green team facilitator, Peter Murphy. So much to look forward to!

Happy holidays to all
