Year 10 Work Experience
Congratulations to the Year 10 students for a very successful week in the workplace. Employers have begun to send in their evaluation forms of each student’s week. In general terms, the employers have been impressed with our students’ work ethic and manners. Here is one of the best comments in so far:
“He never touched his mobile phone!! If only they were all this good. Lachie was terrific, did all he was asked, worked hard and was willing to learn. He had a good manner when meeting people. A credit to his school. A credit to his family.”
Congratulations to Lachlan Macarthur for earning this high praise.
A small group of Year 10’s completed their work experience at Josh Bell’s “Platypus Park” at the Wannon. Josh has renamed this camp site “Outside Inn.” Our students helped Josh continue to set up this facility ready to open sometime in 2021. Thanks must go to Josh for volunteering his time to work with some of our students on this program.
Many thanks to all the employers who worked with our students for our work experience program. This week is the symbolic beginning of our senior students transitioning from school into the next chapter of work or study.
