MSC Thought of the Week:

“Be kind, be thankful, be happy, be you” – message printed on the gift given to me by homeroom 12.2 2020.

Raising funds for our Missions:

Congratulations to the winners of all the Mission raffles this year. The latest winner who won a UE Boom was Ruby Wardlaw.

Graduation Mass 2020:

Due to a slight restriction of Covid rules, we held the Graduation Mass in the Monivae Chapel on Friday the 27th of November. Father Paddy Mugavin from St Mary’s parish was our priest for the evening.

Each homeroom teacher received a thoughtful gift from their homeroom during the Mass, and every student was recognised by Monivae, also receiving a gift and a class photograph. (If any student who was absent wishes to collect these, they are available at the front office.)

The Graduation Mass finished with a photographic representation of the graduates final year of schooling. This can be watched here. https://youtu.be/t6ct5Tr8agI

Thankyou:

Chelsea Storer and Alyssa Neeson – Our Faith and Service Captains for 2020 deserve much  thanks for all the work and effort they put into this year, particularly when at home. I wish them all the best for the next part of their journey.

Upcoming Events:

  • End of School Liturgy to be part of the annual Awards Afternoon Dec. 4th.

May the Sacred Heart of Jesus be everywhere loved.
