MAFFRA SECONDARY COLLEGE STUDENT - Expected Practices / Behaviours
GENERAL HEALTH
I will stay at home if I feel ill.
I understand that if I feel sick at school I will be sent home and I will not be allowed to return to school without medical clearance.
I will drink lots of water, eat healthy food and get to bed early. This will help me to avoid getting sick.
I will try to exercise on a daily basis.
I will let the school know if a member of my family or I come into contact with someone who has been infected with the coronavirus.
PERSONAL HYGIENE
Everyone can protect themselves and prevent the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) by continuing effective hygiene practices. The following will be expected of all students at Maffra Secondary College:
I will practise correct hand hygiene after blowing my nose and using the toilet.
I will use hand sanitizer when I enter and leave a room.
If I need to cough or sneeze, I will use a tissue or my elbow if a tissue isn’t available.
I will place all used tissues immediately in the bin and use hand sanitizer afterwards.
I will bring a drink bottle to school as drink taps (bubble taps) will NOT be available for use.
I will not share my food and or drink bottle at any time.
