Captains' Corner 

I am honoured to have received the opportunity to serve you as College Captain in 2021. I extent my warmest welcome to year 7s and the new students at the college. I hope to get to know you all over the course of the year. I wish you all the best for your journey here at St John’s.  

To all the students and staff, I hope you all have had a restful and enjoyable break and are ready for a year jam-packed with new opportunities and exciting initiatives.  

My vision as college captain of 2021 is to continue to help the school grow, flourish and develop a greater sense of connectedness in our college community as well as ensuring that each member of the college has a voice! I’m looking forward to cooperate with the ministry captains, house captains and SRC’s to ensure that your opinions, suggestions, ideas and input are deeply valued and genuinely considered.  

A new year gives us another chance at being the best possible version of ourselves; it has endless possibilities; it reinvigorates our dreams; let’s make 2021 a memorable one!  

Welcome to back everyone. My name is Aiden and I have one of your college captains for 2021. I hope we all had a wonderful break and ready for a fantastic year ahead of us. I would like to take this opportunity to welcome first of all the new year 7 that have joined us this year and other students that have joined St Johns in other year levels. I hope that I could say hi and have a chat with you all this year. I would like to also welcome teachers and members of staff that have joined this year and those that have returned for long service leave. My vision for this year is to continue to make St Johns a more welcoming place where everyone is accepted no matter what. Which I will go into with detail at the opening school assembly. I can’t wait to working with the faith and ministry, house captain, homerooms reps and the new SRC’s to make St’s Johns a better place. 2021 is a new year very much different to 2020 so I hope that we all can take as many opportunities as we can and enjoy this year.
