SPORTS REPORT

On Friday 12th August during lunchtime, our Teachers played our champion Grade 6 netball team. Here is the banner that the teachers ran through.

GRADE 3-6 HOUSE ATHLETICS

From all the events at this year’s House Athletics Carnival the winning house was Melba just ahead of Parkes. Congratulations to all those children who won events on the day and for participating in such a range of events. We are now finalizing all the children who will represent our school at the District Athletics Carnival on Thursday 1st September.    

Eastern region Netball Finals

On Tuesday the Girls Netball team competed in the Eastern Region Netball day. They finished 2nd in their pool and played a close Semi-Final losing by 3 goals to the eventual winner. The girls played well and were great representatives for our school by showing great persistence and resilience during the day. Thanks to Lyn Whitaker for coaching them and to those parents who carpooled to ensure the day happened.
