PREP- 100 DAYS OF SCHOOL!

On Monday 1 August, the prep students and teachers celebrated 100 days of school.

It was an incredible day reflecting on the achievements of all of the students and celebrating their growth; socially, emotionally and academically.

It was a fun-filled day with lots of '100' related activities. The day started off with a beautiful Prep Parade with students dressing up as 100 year olds and enjoying showing off their costumes to their parents and fellow students. We invited the parents and special guests to help us with making fairy bread and creating our 100 sensory walls.

Students brought in 100 things which they counted and pasted onto a small piece of card. These will be a part of our prep sensory walls, which was closely related to our most recent unit ‘How the World Works’.

Students also created 100 day crowns and we made the number 100 with our bodies.

We cannot wait to continue growing as learners and look forward to the rest of the year.

OPEN EVENING & GRAND OPENING OF OUR LIBRARY

Two weeks ago, MPS invited the community to an open evening, which also included the formal opening of our newly renovated library.

It was a great opportunity to view some of what our school has to offer.

Many thanks to those who attended and especially to Amanda who worked tirelessly to design our magnificent new library.
