Attendance

At Wyndham Vale Primary School, attendance is a priority! We believe that it is extremely important for all children to be at school each and every day. This will give them the best opportunity to achieve their very best, and to not miss out on any learning. Our whole school target for attendance in 2022 is to have less than 16 days absent per student. Excellent attendance will be acknowledged and celebrated through our school newsletters each fortnight and at assemblies.

Congratulations to the following grades for having the best attendance in their cohort: 0KR, 1FH, 2JF, 3LD, 4MR, 5JE and 6MP : Well done!

Our Attendance Trophies

Each week at assembly we will be presenting a trophy for the grades with the best attendance – one for F-Grade 2 and another for Grades 3-6. These awards are for the grades who have the least number of students absent during the last week. We encourage everyone to be at school every day so that you can help your grade work as a team to win these awards.

Term 3 -  Weeks 3 & 4 winners were Grades 0AM, 4MR and 2CB, 3MM

Please remember to call the school to notify us if your child/ren have covid, we have a legal requirement to notify the Education Department and can only do this if you call. We appreciate families are using notes for attendance on compass but we also need to receive a call for a covid notification.
