ANOTHER SUCCESSFUL FUNDRAISER

This past Saturday, the PFA held their very first Bunnings Sausage Sizzle Fundraiser. Thankfully the rain held off until the last 30 minutes of the day. The volunteers had a fantastic time working together and had a bit of fun while feeding the hungry residents of Wyndham. 

Thank you to everyone who popped by to say hi and grabbed a sausage or made a donation. Special thanks goes out to all the wonderful helpers who committed 2 hours of their weekend to making a contribution to our school.

Chris, Linley, Nicole, Sharon, Sana, Ari, Renee, Uday, Felicity, Erin, Mel, Tneale, Charlee and Mrs. Seneviratne aka Saucy Sue.

We raised a total of $1,117.20, making Wyndham Vale Primary's PFA the most successful fundraiser at the Werribee store.

MEETING

The next PFA meeting will be held on 

Thursday 17th August

Come participate in organizing future events and vote on what we will be contributing our funds towards. Meeting starts at 1.55pm, get an optimal parking spot for pick up and join us for some good company and afternoon tea. Children are welcome.

UPCOMING EVENTS

Father's Day Stalls

2022's stall will be held over 2 days, Thursday 1st & Friday 2nd of September. Identical to the Mother's Day Stall held earlier this year, students will attend the stall with their class and have the opportunity to purchase items for special people in their lives. On Friday, over lunch time, the doors to the Art Room will be open for a Second Chance shop. Students will require money on these days to purchase items priced $1-$6 and a bag to store their gifts.  

This stall is made possible by the volunteers within our school. Whether you're available for the eventful Second Chance shop, to assist with Wednesday's set up or able to help both days during school hours, you can help contribute to the success of this event. We require at least 10 volunteers to serve 2 classes each shift, lunch will be provided on the days as a thank you. Your children are welcome to attend with you and you will need a current Working with Children check. The free volunteer card application is easily done online. The pure joy when your child sees you, and the smiles from their friends and so many other children within the school is what makes this a wonderful event to be part of.

Art Show

Mrs Palmer has organized an Art Show that you simply can't miss. The PFA will be there, come say hi and purchase some popcorn or hot dogs. We have also hired a face painter for the event who will be providing surprise designs for the families of WVPS. I can't reveal too much so you will have to come along and see for yourself.                                                                         

Term 4 How are we already talking about Term 4?

We have another Bunnings Fundraiser booked in for Sunday 9th October at Hoppers Crossing. This event has the potential to earn almost triple the amount than Werribee and will need many helpers to make it happen.

We can't get enough of the sausage sizzles and will be outside the school gym for the State Election on Saturday 26th November. We raised $1500 at the Federal election, let's try to top that!
