 3 on 3 Basketball

Last month both our Sports Academy students and Sport and Recreation students in conjunction with Gippsland United, created and ran the very first 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament. We had 49 teams enter ranging from Drouin through to Lakes Entrance. Our students did a terrific job of umpiring, scoring, and facilitating the day. A big congratulations to St Michael’s Heyfield Primary School for winning the boys competition and Newborough East Primary School for winning the girls competition.

Big thanks to Gippsland United for their support in making this event happen.

AFLX

For the second time, we will be running the AFLX event in conjunction with Hawthorn Football Club (AFL) and AFL Gippsland. This event was a huge success last year.

Many of our students will have roles on the day including umpiring, scoring, and facilitating grounds.

We would love for you to pass on information to any primary schools you think would like to be part of the day and encourage them to contact the College on 5127 9200.

Feel free to come down and see the day in actions and the terrific job our students do in running the day.
