In our garden.
We’ve had a mixed bag weather wise over the last 2 weeks, very cold this last Saturday! 4/5 F have been busy on the verge and hill, weeding. It was quite fiddly work in some cases as we weeded in between our little seedlings.
The chooks were very happy with the green pickings they got!
Some of the grade also got busy cutting bamboo stakes, careful teamwork saw us develop our cutting skills.
Grade sixes have been motivated during the last two sessions doing a courtyard blitz. The courtyard is looking much tidier. Thanks for all your efforts 6C!
On Tuesday last week, the rainy weather kept us inside and Foundation had a taste of Kale chips after Sini and Sara cooked up some of our garden produce.
Lots of people came back for seconds! Here’s a simple recipe - we just used olive oil and a little salt to season them.

Stay warm and dry this week and a quick reminded to get your child to wear sturdy footwear and bring a warm jumper or coat on their gardening day.
Happy Gardening!
