Year 1/2 News
KABOOM Percussion!
The Year 1/2 students participated in an incursion with Laura and Nathan from ‘Kaboom Percussion’ as part of our inquiry unit focusing on The Arts. The students were in awe of the musical instruments that were made out of recyclable materials and household items, and were surprised to hear well-known songs played on these instruments. Laura and Nathan also engaged the children through humour and audience participation which the students thoroughly enjoyed!
Multiplication & Division in Maths
The Year 1 students have been practising the concept of fair sharing in groups and recognising the size of groups. Year 2 students have started exploring arrays and created an Arrays City.
Donations
If you have the following items:
Odd socks (clean)
Empty cardboard boxes (small to medium)
Plastic bottles
Plastic bottle lids
