Zones of Regulation

Throughout the year Group 12 have been engaging in wellbeing activities as part of their daily routines. Each day we have our 'Zones Check-in' where students are able to communicate how they are feeling using the Zones of Regulation. The Zones of Regulation is a framework that develops awareness of feelings, energy and alertness levels while exploring a variety of tools and strategies for regulation, self-care, and overall wellness.  It has provided students with an easy way to think about and communicate how they feel using the four coloured Zones. Students also have daily practise in requesting and accessing tools to help with regulation, depending on what zone they are feeling in for that day. It has been great to see students using tools that help them stay regulated, focused and be ready to learn.
