Science Week

Last week our school had the opportunity to celebrate National Science Week which is an annual celebration of science and technology. Throughout the week students explored science through a range of fun and engaging learning experiences including DIY lava lamps, volcanoes, colour changing flowers and many other exciting experiments.

We were lucky enough to also hold a number of incursions for all students including ‘The Incredibubble Science Show’ and the ‘Mad Science Show’. It was great to see the students engage with immersive science demonstrations and really enjoy these unique learning experiences.

To finish the week classes were invited to participate in a number of STEM activities and demonstrations. It was great to see the excitement and enjoyment of our students participate in these hands-on learning experiencing. Students were able to control a range of robots, built interactive Lego landscapes, use simple block coding to solve problems and enjoy other forms of interactive technology with their friends.
