End of Year Award Ceremonies

Celebrations were held in the school’s auditorium as 130 students from years 7-11 were recognised over two ceremonies in December. The Year 7,8 & 9 End of Year awards recognised outstanding efforts both inside and outside the classroom over the course of Semester 2. 

Each year's level recognised the “academic endeavour” of 5 students who had received the most number of “Excellent” scores for their work habits in Semester 2.

 Also, 10 students were rewarded for the highest average assessment scores across their subjects by receiving “academic achievement” awards. 

The Year 10 & 11 End of Year Awards Ceremony presents Subject Awards to the highest scoring student in each year 10 and 11 subject across the whole of the school year. Finally, the following specialist awards were presented to students at each year level across the school:

• Principals Academic Award: presented to the Year level Dux. 
• Sports Award
• Performing Arts Awards
• Peter Egeberg Citizenship Award
• Thornbury High School House Awards
