JUNIOR FUTSAL WORLD CUP

Well done to all the teams that participated in the Junior Futsal World Cup! 

Matches were played across six days during lunchtime.

There were eight teams in the tournament, featuring students from years 7 & 8. 

Each team was aligned to a country, given by the tournament organiser Mr Nasser.

After a competitive pool round and semi final stage, the final was held between Mexico and France. It was a spectacle befitting of its 'final' status, with France scoring late to equalise it at 3-3 at the final whistle. 

Mexico then prevailed in penalties (4-3).
