Grade 1 Students 

1A - Miss Morrison

We have been very busy in 1A completing lots of Christmas activities and having lots of FUN! 

We made a bauble with sequins for our Christmas tree, wrote a Christmas Wish List for Santa and we worked with the friends of 10 and 20 in Maths.

Each day, we also write in our Elf Diary and talk about all the mischief our cheeky elf, Jingles gets up too! We love Christmas!

1B - Miss Lou

IB have been having a merry time during writing. This week we wrote all about ‘If I Was An Elf’. They chose their name and the job they would have. They also had to describe their elf by using adjectives. The students then had fun designing their elf.

We looked at contractions and connected them by making Christmas lights. Students then had the opportunity to draw decorations and colour.

1C - Miss Wong

We are loving all the Christmas activities we have been doing in our classrooms. Here is one of our favourites where we imagined we were one of Santa's elves. We gave ourselves a special elf name, picked a job and shared what we love about Christmas.
