This week in Science:

Foundation, Year 1 & Year 2

Students enjoyed exploring absorption in a ‘science meets art’ experiment.

Esti and Kitt from 2B created some interesting patterns.       

Years 3/4 & 5/6

Students tested a wide range of materials in their water filters including sand, gravel, grass, corn starch, flower petals, coconut, charcoal, fly mesh and corn kernels.

There were some successes and some failures, which allowed students to evaluate which materials make good filters and those that don’t.
