Performing Arts

This week in Performing Arts:

I am so proud of all the children for their wonderful Christmas Concert performances on Tuesday night. They truly brought all the joy and spirit to the stage and performed with all their hearts. All their hard work practising really paid off. 

Our last week of Performing Arts will be spent with a ‘privilege’ lesson, whereby the children will vote for their favourite Performing Arts games/activities to play. It will be a fun way to end the year!

Below is a picture of the children playing one of their favourite warm up games called ‘Sausage’. The aim of the game is to make another child laugh and the child who is trying not to laugh can only respond with the word ‘sausage’. It’s always an amusing watch! 

Memphis in 1B is trying to make Harry S laugh. He’s just holding himself together.

Skyla(2A) guessed our Mystery Song! We have started every lesson with a ‘Mystery Song’ and a dance this year. The kids love to guess it!
