Grade 5/6 Students

Celebrating our fantastic Fives and sensational Sixes!

5/6A - Miss Lee

Welcome to the end of our year in 56A. It is like the days are picking up speed as we zoom toward graduation and the preparations for 2023. The students have shown flexibility and resilience with regard to any last minute changes to timetables and they have continued to show great dedication to their work. Just as an example, here we have Raf, Lola and Lucy’s Graduation books and Scarlett’s finalised biography on her hero, Lauren Jackson. Not only are the contents of these pieces of work well thought out and creative, just have a look at the effort that has gone into their covers of their work. 56A – simply an amazing group.

5/6B - Mr Sankovic

In Writing, students have been writing biographies and autobiographies. The year 6s have enjoyed sharing the story of their life and the year 5s have researched and written about a famous person who is important to them. It has been wonderful hearing all about our students and the people they look up to.

Strength of us all

In 5/6C we have looked into character strengths that we have and that we admire in others. We have been practising our similies and metaphors to assist us when comparing the trait to something! Here is Hamish L's character strengths that he has and admires, well done Hamish!

World Cup Fever

We have also had a World Cup sweep in 5/6C where we have each followed our own country through the world cup. This has assisted our inquiry study of geography. Here is a little poster by Olivia S on her World Cup country of the Netherlands. Great work Liv!

 5/6D - Mr Jared
