P & C News

Welcome to the 2023 school year, from your P&C
Things have been pretty busy over the break;
Country Fair preparations are in full swing. We are so excited for February 25th! Please look out for volunteering opportunities to help make the day a huge success. The Country Fair is the biggest fundraiser of the year for our school and I encourage you to really consider helping out as much or as little as you can on the day. It's going to be great fun!
Zali has reported that OOSH has had a busy holiday period with lots of big, fun days for the kids. Look out for some friendly new faces on the OOSH team.
Amanda has the canteen back in full swing after a busy end of year with catering for our Year 6 student farewell dinner. Lunch Orders can be placed through Quickcliq or at the canteen before school.
Emily Keith has taken over the running of the Uniform Shop. We have been open in the week leading up to school recommencing and will continue to be open 3-4pm Monday afternoons. If you need to contact the Uniform shop the email address is Clothingpooleps@gmail.com Orders can be placed through Quickcliq at any time. We are a little short on some sizes but have everything on order. Thank you for your patience during the change over and during this busy back to school period!
The P&C manage these the businesses as services to the school, and are run to benefit the school community.
P&C will be out in force on Friday morning to welcome the new Kindy students and their families to the school. It's such a lovely morning to be involved in!
If you are interested in joining the P&C this year, please pick up an application form from the school office or contact us at Eglintonpandc@hotmail.com. We'd love to meet you!
See you around the school soon,
Kirsten

Money raised from past Fairs has contributed to the purchase of laptops, books, library furniture and speech intervention for the students of EPS. It is our hope that the contribution from the coming Fair will go a long way towards providing more possibilities for our children.
We are still looking for School Stall Co-ordinators for Drinks, Ice-cream Spiders, Pre-Loved Goodies and Ride Ticket Sales. If you would like to be part of the Country Fair community contact Catharine at eglintoncountryfair@gmail.com. Alternatively, you can leave a message with the school office.
