YEAR 6 | GRADUATION NIGHT
WEDNESDAY 14TH DECEMBER
The Year 6 students danced the night away as they graduated from Milgate Primary School on Wednesday night. It was a fantastic night of celebrations and it was inspiring to hear what action the students wanted to take as they move on from primary school. Congratulations to all Year 6 students and we wish you all the best as you move on to secondary college.
KYAI (3CM) ATHLETICS ACHIEVEMENT
Kyai (3CM) recently participated in the Little Athletics Vic Region Relay Carnival (held on 3/12) and his team has qualified for the 22-23 State Relay Championship.
This was for the Mixed 4x200m Relay for Under 11 which was a year above his group too. Congratulations, Kyai, on a fantastic achievement.
YEAR 3 | ALTERNATIVE TO PRESENT EXCHANGE
This year, students in Year 3 have been exploring ways they can support the community following on from our ‘How we organise ourselves’ inquiry and Food Drive. Rather than do a present exchange students decided to raise money for the Kmart Wishing Tree. Students raised an impressive $551.20 which has been used to purchase gifts for children who may not otherwise get one. During the week students looked at the Kmart website to help create a list of ideas for how the money should be spent.
