The sun shone on the CJC End of Year Party and a great afternoon catching up with our CJC community was had by those who attended.   

 

Here is the event in numbers:

820 tickets sold

40 kilos of sausages grilled  

1623 lollies in the jar guessed (congrats to Marcel D., Prep D)

1 amazing live Band – Thanks Jaspora!

200 pains au chocolat eaten

500 icy poles licked

100 lolly bags grabbed

3 snakes patted

150 donuts gobbled

200 plants planted

2 hours of Israeli dances danced

150 faces expertly painted

450 discos grooved  - thanks TeamKids for supervising

15,000 bubbles swirled in the sky

36 picnic boxes enjoyed

200 middle eastern platters plated

40 cheese boxes nibbled

73 Volunteers signed up  

464,657,598,908,098 whatsapp messages sent between the organising team

8 weeks of weekly leadership team meetings

298 auction bids placed

2 Decathlon bikes won

 

……AND MORE THAN $20,000 IN REVENUE RAISED FOR THE SCHOOL TO FUND PLAYGROUND UPGRADES AND A TOILET REFRESH IN 2023.

One final thank you. It is Rachel’s Halliwell’s last year as a long serving and extremely valued member of PC. If you have ever bought a second hand uniform, had an item fired in the art room kiln, had beautiful flowers given to you from the Mother’s Day stall or received a thoughtful gift from your child among many other things, then you have Rachel’s  hard work and volunteering to thanks.  We wish you and your family well as you leave the CJC community.
