Music Matters

As online learning continues, I would like to commend the students on their efforts both in lessons and in ensembles. We continue to hear that lessons and ensemble are the highlights of the week. I also recognise that some students and families are finding some difficulties in managing work online. I would like to remind everyone that if you wish to discontinue lessons it is still required that you give 3 weeks’ notice. This can either be paid out or lessons can run their course for the three-week notice period. Likewise, if you wish to leave an ensemble, we require written notice to the Ensemble Coordinator, Mr Primrose-Heaney.  

I continue to look forward to reporting on great performances in the future but for this time we can only be patient and wait for instructions from the authorities. NESA have laid out plans for how our HSC classes will be able to complete their performance assessments and we look forward to these taking place towards the end of the term.

Once again thank you for your support of Performing Arts at SPX and we all look forward to being together again soon.
