Cunderdin 8

The conditions of the Cunderdin 8 were less than ideal this year but sixteen keen students still got involved and ran the course. There was a selection of students following behind the runners on horseback with Miss Sharpe.

With the help of the physical education students, the event went off without a hitch and saw Jimmy Fergusson chasing the school record. Unfortunately, due to areas of the course being more suitable to ducks this year, he was just shy of the record coming in at 31.19 minutes, followed by Marshall Rawlings at 35.20 minutes.

Charlotte Crossen was the first female across the line with a finishing time of 48.35 minutes followed by Emily Fergusson crossing the line at 52.52 minutes. The Fergusson siblings plus Charlotte and Marshall will be representing the College on August 20th at Meckering Cross Country next week!

Congratulations to all the students who participated regardless of the not-so-ideal conditions!

Year 11

The last official day for Year 11’s has been brought back to E.O Week 7 (26th November). This is a week earlier than previous years. Students will not be granted leave any earlier than this date for harvest etc. We encourage private farming enterprises to utilise our Year 12’s who formally leave College earlier to address any staffing shortages.
