Junior School News

Well done Junior School students!

It has been fantastic to see the students back at school and making the most of their time here. With a disruptive term, the students should be really proud of themselves as they took the challenges in their stride and continued to work towards achieving their personal best.

Good luck to the year 7 and 8 students who are competing in the Aerobics State Finals over the holidays.

Emma Holman, Director of Junior School, will be taking long service leave for the first four weeks of term 3. Philip Hull, current year 7ACGH Student Manager will be the acting Director during Emma’s absence.

Thank you

Thank you to Isolda Bonomi-Bowen’s family for donating an Eavestaff mini piano that came from the UK in the late 1960s. The Junior School Leaders are looking forward to running some music competitions next term. The piano will be available for students to play during lunchtimes.

Hot Chip Lunch

Congratulations to the students in 7D, 7F, 8C and 8F who won the attendance challenge at Swimming Carnival and Athletics Carnival. These classes had the highest overall class attendance for both events. This was celebrated with a hot chip lunch on Friday.

Lockdown life and learning

7B class captain Cerin Luke initiated a project to capture her classmates living and learning in lockdown.  Here's just a sample. Well done Cerin for keeping your classmates connected and upbeat.
