Touch

Throughout Term 2, students in Years 7 and 8 have participated in CaSSSA Touch Football, with three junior teams being entered into the competition.  The final ranking for each team is as followed: Junior A – eighth, Junior C – fourth and Junior D – sixth. Congratulations to all players and thank you to the coaches, referees, Mr White, and Mrs Caruana for a great season. 

Additionally, CaSSSA Touch Football is underway in Term 3, with Intermediate, Senior, and Open teams having played their first games yesterday.  In keeping with the theme of building success, this year’s participation levels for Touch in Years 9 to 12 has significantly increased from 2020.  Furthermore, students have also been involved in Mount Alvernia’s Touch of Origin, which begun on Tuesday  and will conclude next Friday, 30 July, with a students vs teachers game.  I wish the best of luck to all students playing in CaSSSA Touch Football and Touch of Origin.
