Live and InteractiveSchool Holiday Science Workshops

Dear Parents,Our Spring 2021 Science Workshops will be running from Monday 20th to Thursday 21st September 2021 and will be filled with interactive hands-on home science for your students.  Join our stuck-at-home science presenters for Going Bananas, Weather and Weathering, Around your Home with the Electromagnetic Spectrum and Plastic Fantastic.Due to the continuing COVID-19 safety measures, PrimeSCI! will still be providing live-streamed Zoom workshops for the upcoming School Holidays.  

The live workshops are scheduled to run for a minimum of 40 minutes and include exciting demonstrations, hands-on activities to follow at home, interactive polls, and the opportunity to post science questions to be answered by our PrimeSCI! presenters.Our online interactive workshops are best suited for upper primary students (Grades 3 - 6), but with assistance, younger scientists will be able to participate too. Adult supervision is required for some activities in Monday's Plastic Fantastic workshop and Thursday's Weather and Weathering workshop.Book online now at: https://www.trybooking.com/BUELREnrolment Fee: $10.50 per family (including Trybooking Fee)PLEASE NOTE: Your students’ privacy and internet safety is important to us.  Children will only be able to view our presenters, and not any other participants.

Join our online end of term celebrations

There's not a lot to look forward to at the moment, so we've cooked up an end-of-term watch party for young people and their families to enjoy an outback adventure with the mischievous Blinky Bill. Keep reading for more info on how this will work.

We've also planned an animation challenge for young learners (12 and under) to activate their creativity and production skills during the holidays.

In fourth term, we are supporting you and your students by offering our virtual lessons free of charge. Your students (F-10) can enjoy a 45-minute session of active learning focusing on screen and digital culture.
