From the Remote Classroom of 6J

Last Wednesday the Year 6 class participated in an online scavenger hunt.

They were split into 4 groups and were given a list of 30 objects to collect.

Each item scored one point and anything purple scored 2 points to support diversity through ‘Wear it Purple’Day.

They had 4 hours to complete the task and upload their photos to a program called Padlet.

The highlight of the activity was the ability for the students to connect to each other via an online meeting on Teams.

The winning team was Freya, Maddie, Taj, Gemma and Logan with a score of 47 points.

Lots of creativity was demonstrated with items such as a purple toy car and a butterfly cookie cutter.
