The Great Book Swap

The JS Prefects and House Captains are looking forward to running The Great Book Swap to raise funds for the Indigenous Literacy Foundation for students in K-6.

The idea is that students bring in one or more books in good condition they are willing to donate to a book stall. Books will be for sale for $2 however students who donate a book will get a half price voucher.

You can search ‘KWS – Great Book Swap’ on the Indigenous Literacy donation page here if your family would like to make an additional donation to this amazing organization.

Book donations can be given to the student leaders in the K-6 Assembly area before school during Week 7 (23rd August-27th August).

The Great Book Exchange will be held on Indigenous Literacy Day – Wednesday 1st September (Week 8).

If COVID has other plans and we do not return to school in time, we will postpone the event so that we can both promote literacy in our school and support literacy in our indigenous communities.
