Navigate: To plan a course using a map.

Directions: To guide someone using directional language such as north, east, west and south.

ACTIVITIES YOU CAN DO AT HOME TO SUPPORT YOUR CHILD'S LEARNING

Using grid paper, have your child create a map. Choose a starting point and have them direct you on where to go. Ensuring they are using directional language.
