Year 9s Served a Dose of Inspiration
On Thursday 22 June, Years 9 students enjoyed a wellbeing presentation by guest speaker Lisa McInnes-Smith. Lisa shared her own story that involved being born with one eye permanently closed and the hardships and life learnings she gained from it. She shared tips on resilience and goal setting as well as getting the students out of their seats and involved in different physical challenges. Lisa is much travelled in her profession and some information about her:
- Background is Sport Psychology.
- She is an expert at Raising Performance, and this is the overarching theme of all her presentations.
- She is passionate and provocative and a master of shifting behaviour.
- Lisa’s family were professional tennis players.

- Is the first person outside North America to be inducted into the international Speaker Hall of Fame.
