Finals Weeks for Senior EISM Sport for the Year

We are approaching the final weeks of our Winter Season for Senior EISM Sport with the last round on Wednesday 9 August, followed by Semi-Finals on Wednesday 16 August and Grand Finals on Wednesday 23 August. After that, selected Year 12 students have one final commitment to represent the College at the annual EISM Cross Country on Wednesday 6 September.

This term, Oxley will host the Senior Netball Grand Finals on Wednesday 23 August in the Stadium and we are in a great position to play in both the Girls and Boys Netball Grand Finals.

Year 7 - 9 students started with a new term of sports and that will change again in Term 4. The best players in Year 7 for Term 2 were acknowledged during a special Sport Assembly in the Stadium at the start of this term. Below are the names of the students who were awarded Most Valuable Players and Best Team Players. Congratulations to these students.

EISM Cross Country

The EISM Inter-School Cross Country Competition will take place on Wednesday 6 September 2023 at Ruffey Lake Park in Doncaster East. Students who are selected to represent the College on that day will be notified and parents must give their permission for attendance by Friday 25 August.

Oxley is very competitive in Cross Country and that is why we would like to see selected students attending the training sessions leading up to this event. Training sessions are held after school on Thursday afternoons in the Stadium at 3.45pm - 4.30pm sharp. Getting fit and ready for Cross Country will also improve student’s performances in the weekly EISM competition. Hope to see you all at training!
