Links and IE Excursion to Melbourne Aquarium

During the Links / IE excursion to the Melbourne Aquarium on Wednesday 19 July, we learnt many things about marine life including turtles, penguins, crocodiles, fish, seahorses and jelly fish. 

My personal favourite experience was sitting through a 4D 15-minute Happy Feet short film that simulated the experience of being in Antarctica and then seeing the real penguins afterwards. 

Our guide, Lachy, was very kind and packed us full of new information to share with others. An interesting fact that I will remember is that if you touch water that is in very close proximity to a jellyfish, it is not uncommon to experience a stinging sensation.
