Book Week 2023 - 19 to 25 August
CHILDREN'S BOOK WEEK®, 2023
Each year since 1945 the CBCA has brought children and books together across Australia through Children's Book Week®. During this time schools and public libraries spend one glorious week celebrating books and Australian children's authors and illustrators.
The Niangala school library has ordered a long list of the 2023 shortlisted books of the year. We will be excited to have them arrive and get them ready for the children to borrow.
Niangala Public School will celebrate Children's Book Week 2023 with a book week activity day, Wednesday 23 August and a dress up book parade and sausage sizzle lunch for families and Kindergarten Transition children on Friday 25 August. Keep an eye out for more details in the weeks to come.
