PREP SPOTLIGHT

What an exciting last couple of weeks the Preps have! We can hardly believe that we’ve made it to our 100 Day Celebration! We spent the day reflecting on how far we’ve come in our learning journey this year. We even made a chain with 100 links to represent all the days we’ve been at school! We especially loved dressing up as 100 year old citizens. 

Phonics Fun

The Preps have been working extra hard this term to practice their blending and extend on their knowledge and understanding of letter sounds and heart words. We have enjoyed engaging with this part of our learning through the interactive and challenging activities that we do everyday in our literacy block. It’s been wonderful to discover so many new things about reading!

Our Adventures with Toshi the Travel Pug

This term we have also started Show & Tell in Prep. We are taking it in turns to take 

home ‘Toshi’ and share our adventures with him. Afterwards we document these adventures in a special travel journal. We have been so excited to take part in this project this term!
