As second term draws to a close our usual Work Experience looks a little different. Year 10 students are undertaking a Virtual Work Experience and in the last week of November 29/11- 3/12 they will be doing their onsite Work Experience.
For the Virtual experience we are fortunate to have access to two different programs

This is a great opportunity for students to have a deep dive into one or several careers and get some idea of what is really involved, excellent preparation for their practical placement later in the year. Students develop skills and knowledge of the field they may be interested in pursuing, which shows commitment and is an advantage when approaching employers.
I encourage you to have a look at the two websites to see what sort of experiences are available. And please email me if you have any questions about the Virtual or Face to Face, work experience.
I am attaching a list of Open and Experience days at Tertiary institutes some are on campus and some virtual, I encourage all students especially our Year 12 students to have a look at the list and put them in your diary; also go to the website because for some you need to register.
