3/4 Museum Excursion

By Zoey and Mehek

The bus filled with chatter and excitement as the 3/4's made their way to the Melbourne museum for their "Blue Marble" Guided Inquiry excursion. As they hopped off the bus and entered the exhibits, students began taking in all the information on various types of flora and fauna. They learnt about animals, ecosystems, the habitats and environments these animals live in, and the roles animals have in their habitats.

The 3/4's welcomed a whole new world of imagination and curiosity. Building on the knowledge they learned during Guided Inquiry lessons, the exhibitions gave students the chance to expand on this knowledge and learn it in various formats - through pictures, videos, infographics and text.
