Battle of the Bands – New Date!

Thursday, July 22nd, 2021

At this stage we are going to hold Battle of the Bands on Thursday 22nd of July. I’m really looking forward to this and I know the children are too. It’s very encouraging when voluntarily, students come to the Music room to rehearse their bands and dances.

I was so thrilled to hear about a rehearsal at the Cotton residence!

Rehearsals:

Week 1: Normal lesson times

In week 2 we will have a rehearsal day on Tuesday 20th July. Students will need to remember to bring their instruments.

As we won’t be able to have more than 320 people in the hall we will be staging this as a ‘Live Stream’ event. We have received confirmation from the National Copyright Unit that we have permission to do this. If you have any expertise in filming live stream events I would love your assistance.

10.30am to 11.30am: 5T – Highway to Help

5T – please bring your recess snack

Recess: Believer Band – Year 6

12 noon: 5B – Titanium

12.50: 5M - Hall of Fame

1.15: 5R - Faded
