Work Experience
Work Experience is well underway with some students already completing their placements. These placements have allowed students to explore career options, experience working in the real world and see what it’s really like working in a particular industry.
Some Year 10 students are still waiting on paperwork to confirm their placements. If this is you then please chase this up with your work experience employer and return the paperwork to the Careers Team asap.
Now is a good time for students to consider participating in some school holiday programs which will allow them to explore course and career options. If you want to know more about a particular industry join a school holiday program so you can meet like minded people, make contacts within the industry and ask questions. It is a good opportunity to see if you really want to pursue a particular career or not.
